Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility of MCC “Universal Credit”

1. Charity and Support for Socially Vulnerable Groups
MCC Universal Credit adheres to the principles of social responsibility and actively provides assistance to those in need. In the summer of 2024, the Company provided charitable support to 220 children with disabilities in the village of Belovodskoye and to 200 elderly residents of a nursing home in Bishkek. On a voluntary basis, Company employees also assist families facing difficult life circumstances, thereby demonstrating their commitment to the values of humanism and mutual support.

2. Promotion of Sports and a Healthy Lifestyle
We believe that health is the foundation of a prosperous life. Universal Credit promotes an active lifestyle culture: Company employees regularly participate in seasonal races and marathons, and the corporate football team represents the Company in the annual championship among microcredit and microfinance organizations organized by the Association of Microfinance Organizations (AMFO).

3. Support for Women’s Entrepreneurship
The Company actively supports the development of women’s entrepreneurship, as more than 59% of our borrowers are women. In the autumn of 2024, Universal Credit initiated cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and reached a preliminary agreement to attract financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support women entrepreneurs. A key condition of this program is a preferential interest rate not exceeding 15% per annum, which makes loans more accessible and fosters business development among women.

4. Employee Well-being and Professional Development
We are confident that the Company’s success directly depends on the well-being and development of its employees. As part of its corporate social responsibility policy, Universal Credit entered into a partnership agreement with a medical laboratory, enabling employees to undergo comprehensive medical examinations on preferential terms. In addition, the Company systematically organizes trainings and educational programs, taking into account employees’ preferences to support their professional and personal growth. Currently, a partnership is in place with the EcoEnglish language school, whose instructors conduct classes directly at the office, helping employees expand their opportunities and improve their foreign language proficiency.

MCC Universal Credit continues to develop corporate social responsibility initiatives, striving to make a positive impact on society and to create long-term value for its clients, employees, and partners.
